Templemoor Infant School
Many of our Year 3 children come to Moorlands Junior School after completing Year 2 at Templemoor Infant School. Transfer is automatic and parents do not need to apply for a place.
Although we are separately governed and managed, the relationship between Templemoor Infant School and Moorlands Junior School is strong. Staff from both schools regularly meet to discuss teaching and learning provision. Children from both schools also take part in joint activities, such as extracurricular events or watching each other in performances like Christmas shows.
We run a comprehensive transition programme for all children moving from Year 2 to Year 3. This ensures that children have plenty of opportunities to visit the Junior School and meet their new teachers before they start.
If you have a younger sibling who is looking for a school place, please contact Templemoor directly who will be more than happy to give you a tour of the school. As part of their Early Years provision, Templemoor offers both 15 and 30 hour nursery places for children from 3 years old.
